Its the inspiration for one I’m looking to make for Ben. I’ve collected the fabrics, and now its just sew time. I own the book that it’s adapted from “Last Minute Patchwork & Quilted Gifts”. I love how clean and organized it is. And I LOVE the fabrics picked. I think picking fabrics is such a delicate art. lol. Getting the right fabrics to “go together” is not easy. Not only that but placing the fabrics in the quilt is also an art. I’m learning that some of my favorite things I’ve made have been “thrown” together…less planning, more just going with my gut instincts. I try to follow my gut now more often than not. Less thinking. More feeling.
