I have boys. Two of them. Well, three if you count my husband. And I don’t know boys. I am often mystified and speechless. I think a lot. I wonder. I am constantly in search of balance. I don’t want to wimpify my boys, but yet, sensitivity is my main priority…so how to nurture, create, mold boys that grow to be strong, independent, stand up guys and also sensitive, sweet and thoughtful. I try to encourage both sides I guess. I embrace their “boyness” and their love of physical activity and rough-housing, and yet really encourage and foster their creative sides. So here is Jack, in a moment of balance. His tough boy side in a Batman costume, while painting and being thoughtful and sweet. I had to capture this fabulous moment 🙂
